Hi!

I’m Cesca.

I’m an aspiring UI/UX designer with a background in computer science and project management.

I graduated university with a Bachelors degree majoring in computer science in December of 2020. This gave me my foundational technical skills and ability to code. During my time at university, I always leaned on the more creative side, tending to take more design focused classes whenever I could. When I graduated, despite everyone telling me I had a clear path to become a software engineer, I was still unsure of what I wanted. However, due to the COVID pandemic and a strange string of events, I ended up as a project manager at Verizon.

Being at Verizon has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills, while also giving me the free time to work on my own projects. The skills being in project management have taught me are invaluable, such as time management, client success management, and data analysis. I have also been able to expand my technical knowledge by learning how to productively use Excel and Tableau in this environment. These have all culminated in me having a good foundation of technical and executive knowledge.

I’ve always had a creative streak, and UI/UX seems like a perfect fit for me to combine my love for both tech and art. I hope to continue on my professional journey and learn and grow as much as I possibly can.
